Mt Everest : The peak
Edmund Langridge, United KingdomAs a trekker myself, the EBC trek felt both humbling and exhilarating, with landscapes that were even more breathtaking than I had expected. The hospitality of the Sherpas and the well-organized teahouses made the journey much easier despite the high altitude challenges.
high reward trek
Gabriel Costa, ItalyWhen I arrived in Nepal, I never imagined I would come to love the nature of this country so much. Especially the mountains; when I think of mountains, I think of Mount Everest. The trail was challenging at times, but the views that unfolded before my eyes were indescribable. I truly felt the beauty of the landscape.
Chasing heights: My journey to Everest Base Camp
Isabelle Williams, New ZealandI set out for Everest Base Camp, acknowledging the challenges. But nothing prepared me for the scale of it. The trails wind endlessly, morning freezes your fingers, and altitude headaches are merciless. But each day brought happiness and small victories. A hot cup of tea at 4000 meters, and chat with strangers. Reaching base camp was surreal. Not the finish line, obviously, but a moment of quiet triumph and awe.
My best trek-EBC
james collins, IrelandI have walked dozens of treks, but none of them felt like the EBC trek. The trek was no less than a hassle and a challenge. Nonetheless, that is what makes a trek even more adventurous. locals and travel organizers were helpful from the beginning, had an amazing time there.
