Day 1:Nagarkot-Changunarayan Hike

After the breakfast in your hotel, we will drive you via private vehicle to Nagarkot hilltop where you will stroll around for half an hour and then walk down to the starting point of our hike. From Nagarkot, a hiking trail further descends down the hill through Tamang villages. On the way, you will witness the thatched houses that are painted with red soil. These houses are usually 2-3 storied and has an adjoining shed for animals in the courtyard. You can also get to taste local rice wine made by the people who live here. After walking for about 3-4 hours, we will reach the final destination of our hike, Changunarayan Temple. The temple is also known for being the oldest pagoda style temple in Nepal. After having lunch in the village near the temple, you will be driven back to the hotel at Kathmandu.
