This is a short hiking trip that lasts only 6 days. You begin the journey from Kathmandu. First, we will drive to Sundarijal. From Sundarijal, it is a 4 hours walk up to Chisapani. It is the northeast hill section of the valley. Chisapani is known to offer rather a chilly atmosphere with views of the Langtang Himalayan ranges. The next day, we will be heading to Nagarkot through a gradual uphill trail. The hike to Nagarkot is the most challenging one on the trip. The next morning in Nagarkot, we wake up early to catch the mesmerizing sunrise view of the Himalayas. On a clear morning, the Himalayan view can stretch from the Dhaulagiri all the way to Mount Everest (8848m). Next, we head southeast to Dhulikhel, which is 5 hours away, traveling through the village trail which is ever so peaceful. In Dhulikhel, again on a clear day, you are rewarded with a wonderful mountain view. Finally, a short drive of 30-50 minutes takes us back to Kathmandu.
