The Pokhara Valley Tour is specifically designed to accentuate the already rich natural as well as cultural landmarks of the Pokhara Valley. Feast your eyes on the glorious Annapurna Range and the serene Phewa Lake. Marvel at the beautiful sunrise view from Sarangkot over the mountain range and get a true feel of the beauty Pokhara has during this tour.

The 8-day Pokhara Valley Tour commences with your arrival in Kathmandu Valley. After some quick paperwork, we shall begin the tour.

The first part of the tour takes you to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley which comprises Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Boudhanath. Pashupatinath is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva that gets hundreds of pilgrims every day.

Swayambhunath is the oldest temple in Nepal and is one of the most important religious sites for Buddhists. Boudhanath is the biggest stupa and equally important Buddhist stupa. The three Durbar Squares were carved by the ancient Malla kings hundreds of years ago.

After we complete visiting all the UNESCO Sites in Kathmandu, we shall take a bus and head to the Pokhara Valley which covers a distance of around 200 kilometres. The drive shows amazing sights of the Trishuli River and the green hills. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will finish the day by doing a peaceful boating trip in Phewa Lake. Wake up early the next morning for a quick ride to the hill station of Sarangkot.

Here, you will observe the glorious sunrise illuminating the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. And from there we head to Mahendra and Bat Cave. We conclude the Pokhara Valley Tour with a hike to the World Peace Pagoda and visit Davis Falls the next day. You will also learn some history at the International Mountain Museum. You will drive back to Kathmandu where this tour shall end.

Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu

Once you arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will meet our company representative who will transfer you to your hotel. There are no scheduled activities/events for today. So, in the evening, you can take a quick visit around the local areas. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu valley which includes sites like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath. Initially, we will head to Pashupatinath which is the pinnacle of Hinduism. Next, we escape to the monkey temple, Swayambhunath climbing 365 stairs. Afterward, we head to the biggest stupa of Nepal, Boudhanath. The last place we visit today is Kathmandu Durbar Square. Here, you can observe the historic Malla architectures. Overnight in Kathmandu.

    The next leg of this sightseeing tour of UNESCO Sites takes us to the endearing sight of Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square. These sites are drenched in hundreds of years of Malla history which you see reflected in Nyatapola temple, 55-window Palace, and Golden Gate in Bhaktapur. Take time to stroll around and taste Juju Dhau, considered the King of yogurt. Later in Patan Durbar Square, marvel at the architectural marvel Krishna Temple and Bhimsen Mandir. Overnight in Kathmandu.

      The objective for the day is to reach the tranquil Pokhara valley. The road takes us along the Prithvi Highway and provides us amazing displays of the roaring Trishuli River. The journey to Pokhara is smooth and takes about 6 hours. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we transfer to our hotel and spend the remainder of the day boating in Phewa Lake. On a clear day, you can see Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountains from the lake. Overnight in Pokhara.

        Wake up early and take a quick drive to Sarangkot to witness the glorious sunrise which illuminates the snow-laded mountains of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. You also get a great view of the Pokhara Valley with Phewa Lake from Sarangkot. Afterward, you head to your hotel and after a quick breakfast, go sightseeing in Mahendra Cave and Bat Cave. Overnight in Pokhara.

          The second day of the Pokhara sightseeing trip takes us to the World Peace Stupa. The stupa sits on top of a hill and from there, you can see the entire Pokhara valley. The pagoda is clad in white and after meditating a bit there, we head towards the International Mountain Museum. Next, you head to Davis Falls to observe the roaring waterfall and then, slowly make way toward Gupteshwor cave to get blessings from Lord Shiva. Overnight in Pokhara.

            The tour has come to an end. Today, we drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Our road takes us through the Prithvi highway. Along the way, we shall be warmly greeted by the picturesque views of mountains, hills, and Trishuli River. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, you will participate in a farewell dinner organized by the company. Overnight in Kathmandu.

              Today is your final day in Nepal and our company representative will drop you back off at Tribhuvan International Airport for your scheduled flight home. We hope you had a great experience. Thank you for traveling with us.
