Kathmandu Valley Tour takes you around the Kathmandu Valley and its Newar culture. The tour explores the three cities in the Kathmandu Valley: Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur. On the tour, one also gets to visit the UNESCO-enlisted world heritage sites in these cities. All in all, the tour shows the mix of history and culture in the Kathmandu Valley.

Kathmandu Valley Tour has numerous places which have cultural and historic value. So, many Hindu and Buddhist sites are the major stops on the tour. Namely, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath are the religious sites on the tour. Thus, you get to study the Newar lifestyle and culture by meeting the locals. The Durbar squares in all these three cities are great sightseeing sites. These durbar squares have an age-old history in the temples, art, and ethos of the people. They are the cultural symbols of the valley. And, you can also enjoy Newari dishes on the tour.

The tour begins with a visit to the world heritage sites within the valley. Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath are the major destinations to visit. Kathmandu Durbar Square is another world heritage site in the city. There are many temples, museums, and religious shrines in the durbar square. Next, you visit the world heritage sites in Patan and Bhaktapur. In Patan, you will visit the Patan Durbar Square, Golden Temple, and the 1000 Buddha Stupa. Thereafter, in Bhaktapur, you visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, 55 window palace, golden gate, and Nyatapola Temple.

Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu

Touching down at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our office representatives who will guide you directly to the hotel. Freshening up from the day's journey, you can explore around and enjoy the pleasant evening.

The first day of our trip and we begin our adventure with the hill-top temple of Swayambhunath. We climb up to the temple taking in the stunning views of the valley as well as the tranquil atmosphere around the temple. Later, we head to Pashupatinath and visit some of the Hindu heritage. Then, the journey heads towards to the cultural center of Kathmandu Durbar Square where the unique architecture reflects the ancient way of life. The day ends at Boudhanath monastery accompanied by pleasant views of the sunset.

    Journeying around Kathmandu, we make our way towards the Patan Durbar Square. The ancient palace of the Malla kings hosts countless monuments with Taleju Bhawani and Krishna Temple being the most prominent pieces. Spending some time around the city we head towards the city of Bhaktapur. The journey leads us to Bhaktapur Durbar Square which hosts the ancient royal palace of the once Bhaktapur Kingdom. We end our journey at the square itself touring the stunning heritages including the 55 windowed palaces, Naytapola Temple, and Bhairav Nath temple.

      Making our way back to the capital city, we first head directly to the hotel and freshen up from the journey. With all the activities for the journey coming to a close, you are free to head down to the local regions enjoying the day at your own discretion. Do make sure to try out the local delicacies while hunting for souvenirs back home. A lovely farewell dinner caps the day as we prepare for departure.

        Our representatives will drop you back to Tribhuvan International Airport just in time for your flight back home. We hope you had a lovely time with us and we look forward to seeing you again.
