A Journey to Remember
Giulia Bianchi, ItalyThe trek was a perfect mix of challenge and beauty. Every day brought new scenery, from quiet forests to majestic peaks, and the pace allowed me to truly appreciate it all. The small lodges and local people made the journey feel personal and welcoming. It wasn’t just about reaching the top—it was about enjoying every moment along the trail.
Very Tough, Very Real
Aaron Lim Wei Sheng, SingaporeComing from a fast and comfortable city, this journey felt extremely raw. The long drives, cold rooms, and thin air were difficult to adjust to. I struggled with headaches during the kora, but the quiet presence of Mount Kailash made me reflect deeply on life and priorities.
Mt Everest is literally a paradise
Emily Smith, United KingdomAs an English person, I went on the EBC trek thinking it would be a bit of a lark. Bloody hell, was I wrong! The mountains are relentless, the air is thin, and the place is freezing. Still, there’s something wonderful about trudging up the valleys with a cup of tea in hand and meeting people along the way.
Such a powerful place
Nita lonkar, IndiaI have always dreamed of seeing Mount Kailash, and finally, in June, I joined a group tour from Mumbai. The journey was tougher than I imagined. Long jeep rides on dusty, bumpy roads tested me, and high altitudes hit me hard around Saga. I had to stop frequently to breathe and hydrate. Mount Kailash is not easy, but it's life-changing. I came back exhausted but spiritually uplifted. Travellers should prepare their body and mind because the journey is as sacred as the destination.
Worth Every Breath I Lost
Salva Martinez, SpainI struggled with the altitude more than I expected and questioned myself many times. Breathing was hard, but the views kept pushing me forward. Seeing Annapurna in the early morning light made everything feel meaningful. I felt proud and emotional standing there. Such a good experience is hard to find.
Raw adventure at the roof of the world
Nathan Patterson, New ZealandFor me, it was a battle against the mountain, the cold, and myself. Staring up at Everest, I realized how utterly raw, wild, and humbling it is. This isn’t just a walk; it’s a journey that sticks with you and remains inside you forever.
