Overview

Helambu Trek is the perfect 9-day trek featuring both nature and culture. This trek is located in the Langtang region. Helambu remains in touch with greenery and authentic culture.

Prepare to be amazed by the Langtang mountain range and the culture of the residents. Tibetan and Sherpa culture thrives in the villages on the Helambu trekking.

As a result, there are several Tibetan monasteries. The Hyolmo culture is also native to Helambu.

Lush forests along the treks are fantastic vantage points to observe the Himalayas. Trekkers can enjoy popular mountain ranges like Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, and Gauri Shankar. Similarly, the Sherpa culture is also a major attraction of the Helambu trek.

As a result, a mix of nature, culture, and spiritual journeys makes it rather unique.

First of all, the trek starts with an hour-long drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal. A short trek of 4 hours leads to Chisapani.

A slow ascent from Chisapani leads to Kutumsang. The highest point of the trek is Thadepati (3650 m) which comes after Kutumsang.
