Panchase Trek is an adventure for beginners who wish to explore one of the easiest trails in the Annapurna region. Exploring the lesser-popular trails, Panchase Treks navigates a discreet region filled with beautiful scenery of the pristine Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks. A few days of trekking on the Panchase Trek take you through the lush forests and sparse settlements to the west of Phewa Lake. Relish the sights of the Himalayas like Lamjung (6983m), Machhapuchhre (6997m), Manaslu (8163m), and Annapurna Range.
The Panchase Trek lasts 11 days and commences upon your arrival at Kathmandu. First, you’ll indulge in a sightseeing tour of the historical Kathmandu valley and visit some UNESCO World Heritage Sites, namely: Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath.
Next, you can either embark on a 30-minute flight or a 6-hour drive to reach Pokhara. From Pokhara, you’ll drive 5 hours west of Pokhara to Bhumdi village via Khade Khola. Bhumdi is mostly inhabited by Gurung and Brahmin tribes. A 6-hour uphill trek through a quaint natural setting brings you to the top of Panchase at Panchase Hanjyang.
From here, you can catch some pristine sights of Annapurna I (8091m), Lamjung (6983m), Gangapurna (7454m), and Machhapuchhre (6997m) in the distance. Panchase is a quaint hill station located inside the Annapurna Region. Afterwards, you’ll begin descending along the sparsely settled villages of Bhadaure, Dhampus, Kirakhor, and Hyangja to reach Pokhara.
