Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu there will be one of our company representatives with the nameplate. You will be greeted by our staff and transferred to the preferred hotel in Kathmandu. Stay overnight at the Kathmandu Hotel.

The journey begins today with a scenic drive to Bhulbhule on a bus. Enjoy the drive of about 6-7 hours which takes you along with gleaming Trishuli River. Observe everything this drive has to offer you - the terraced farms, charming villages, and glimpses of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu Himal and many more. Here the trek comes to commence with slightly about 5-6 hours. After having breakfast, start your day traversing through lush forests and terraced fields along with river’s edge. Today, you’ll be wandering into the Manang district of the mountain range, with the steep ascend of the trail throughout the day. Continuing the trail through the deep timbered canyon adorned by soothing waterfalls. Then, walk alongside fields of wheat, rice, and potatoes to reach Kodo, one of the biggest towns in Manang Valley. From there, cross a suspension bridge and take a short climb to Stone Kani you will arrive at the final destination of the day. Stay overnight at Dharapani teahouses.

The journey takes us through a lush forest adorned with pine, fir, oak, and maple trees. Today is mostly an easy walk with a few ascending stretches of trail dotted throughout the day. An amazing scenery is on the way today to admire you! The trail traverses through a deep gorge, and then you’ll pass the great extensive slope of Paungi Danda rising more than 1500 meters. Comparatively, the 7th day of this trek is quite difficult. Heading along a steep ridge with awe-inspiring views of the beautiful Manang Valley and majestic Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho, and Pisang Peak. This day is considered as the rest and acclimatization day in Manang which is a requirement for everyone. Have a delicious breakfast and make your way to explore the charming valley of Manang. You’ll go on an excursion to Gangapurna Glacier & Ice Lakes. From there surely the magnificent vistas of Annapurna III, Tilicho, Pisang, and Chulu Peaks. will make you awestruck for a while. Today’s trek will be relatively shorter and of moderate level. This day’s trek will start with a gradual climb on a ridge then the trail stretches down to the river bed and you will cross Jarsang Khola (4,310 meters). Then, from here onwards, walk on the uphill jagged route that will take you to the Thorong Phedi. In this day’s beautiful trekking adventure, you will be able to see the awe-inspiring views of the Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Thorang Peak, Khatungkan, Gundang, and Syagang. Challenge yourself thrillingly on this day crossing the highest Thorong La Pass – the main highlight and greater elevation point of this adventure. Embarking early in the morning, enduring the biting cold and navigating through the crisp, high–altitude air to the top of Thorong La Pass. Despite the challenging conditions, the worthwhile views from the pass make the effort entirely amazing. Gazing northwards towards Tibet, a panorama of majestic Himalayan peaks unfolds, while a glance backwards reveals the incredible Annapurna range.

A short descent leads to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Referred to as Chumig Gyatsa in Tibetan, which translates to Hundred Waters, by Buddhists.     The Annapurna Circuit Trek presents a moderate to challenging level of difficulty, presenting some difficult sections throughout the circuit. Successful completion of the trek requires excellent physical fitness, thorough preparation, a positive mental outlook, and the capability to adapt to varying conditions. Even beginners can do this trek provided that they train themselves at least 3 months prior to the trek.

  • The Annapurna trekking zone is a restricted area in Nepal so an ACAP which is an (Annapurna Conservation Area Project Permit) and a TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card are needed

  • The best time to do Annapurna Circuit Trek is during the (spring season) months of March through to May. It is also favourable to trek during the (autumn seasons) months from late September till December. It is also possible to do this trek in February and early September but the most preferable time for this trek is as stated above.
