The 10-day Kathmandu Manang Kathmandu Motorcycle Tour begins upon your arrival in Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, you’ll assess the motorcycle and buy the needed gear for the trip.
The tour begins as you make your way out of Kathmandu and head 104km west to Besisahar. The trail gradually advances along the rocky motorable path to Chame and then to Manang Valley.
Inhabited mostly by Buddhists, you’ll encounter unique Buddhist culture, lifestyle, and tradition that is mostly influenced by Tibetan Buddhism.
The Manang village is decorated with numerous illustrious monasteries and monuments that reflect the ethos of Tibetan culture.
Afterwards, you’ll ride 20km deeper into the valley to reach Tilicho Lake Base Camp before trekking to the serene site of Tilicho Lake. Tilicho (4920m) is a glacial lake located atop Manang Valley.
The lake has a deep blue colour, with glaciers and mountains surrounding it. As there are no tea houses en route, you’ll make a quick trek to the region before heading down to Khangsar via Tilicho Lake Base Camp.
