Then, you’ll take a scenic mountain flight to Lukla — the gateway to Everest — and begin trekking to Phakding and Namche Bazaar, the vibrant Sherpa capital. After a day of acclimatization and exploration in Namche, you’ll continue to Tengboche, famous for its monastery and stunning panorama of Everest and Ama Dablam.

From here, the trail leads through Pangboche, Pheriche, and Lobuche, passing through glacial valleys and rugged terrain. You’ll then reach Gorakshep — the final stop before the legendary Everest Base Camp. Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu

You will arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport where a company representative will come to greet you. Then, you will proceed to your hotel where you can rest. Later, you can also go around the block for explorations. You can go shop for souvenirs or go for experiencing the city atmosphere.

We begin the trip with the exploration of the UNESCO world heritage sites spread around the valley. Beginning the day, we head to the Swayambhunath temple with the tranquil environment and pleasant views of the valley. Then, we head down to the Hindu temple of Pashupatinath. Next, we journey to Kathmandu Durbar Square where we can observe the ancient culture, art, and architecture. The day comes to an end with the monastery of Boudhanath along with the sunset views.

An early start to the day we make our way out of the valley heading towards the thrilling airstrip of Lukla. Flying over the lush hills with added views of the Himalayas, the journey touches down at Lukla. Taking a brief rest at the picturesque town, we ascend through the lush green forests. On the final stretch of the trek to Phakding, we follow the banks of the Bhote Koshi River.

Making our way out of Phakding we once again enter the lush green forests adorned with pine, fir, and rhododendron trees heading past a series of hamlets including Bengkar, Monjo, and Jorsalle. The entry point of Sagarmatha National Park is at Jorsalle which also marks the final stretch of our journey. Then, we resume along with the views of Thamserku (6,623m) and Kongde Ri (6,187m). Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Today, we acclimatize at Namche Bazaar and adjust ourselves to the Himalayan climate. One of the usual destinations for trekkers heading in and out of the Everest Region, the hamlet sees a large number of tourists and locals alike. For our acclimatization, we can head to the traditional hamlets of Khumjung and Khunde. Or, heading over to the Everest View Hotel is also a great option. Overnight at Namche.

Today, we make our way over to the hilly town of Pangboche for the night. Exiting Namche through a series of Chortens and Mani walls, we make our way over to Tengboche which hosts the Dawa Choling Monastery. The monastery is blessed with majestic Himalayan views of Ama Dablam (6,856m) alongside the majestic Everest range. Ascending further, we journey past Debouche leading to Pangboche.

Beginning the day with the views of the Himalayas, we wrap up things at Pangboche ascend to Pheriche. The journey is a pleasant one as we leave behind the tree lines heading through the Himalayan wilderness to climb the Pheriche Pass (4270m). Descending from the pass, the trail heads over to Jamdang before reaching Pheriche.

On the final of our acclimatization days, today, we take some time off at Pheriche to acclimatize. Pheriche is a Sherpa village which is located above the Tsola River. It is also an ideal Himalayan viewpoint to witness the views of the Ama Dablam (6,856m), Taboche (6,367m), and Cholatse (6,335m) alongside others. For our acclimatization hike, we make our way over to the hillside alongside the views of the valley.

One of the shorter days of the trek, today, we make our way over to the hamlet of Lobuche. Exiting Pheriche, we begin our ascending journey heading towards Chupki Lahara. Taking some time off to enjoy the views, we ascend past the glacial moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to reach Lobuche. The village is situated at the foothill of the majestic Mt. Nuptse (7,861m).

Making our way out of Lobuche, we ascend through glacial moraines towards Gorakshep. Enjoying panoramic views of the majestic Himalayas including Mt. Everest (8,848m), we ascend from Gorakshep to the Everest Base Camp. At an altitude of 5,364, the foot of the tallest point in the world offers a thrill and adventure like no other. The base camp offers views of mountains like Nuptse (7,861m), Changtse (7,543m), Lhotse (8,516m), and Cho Oyu (8,201m). Later, we make our way back from the base camp descending over to Lobuche.

At the beginning of our descent, today, we make our way to Tengboche. Exiting Lobuche, we head past Chupki Lahara and Pheriche to reach Orsho. With the majestic Ama Dablam (6,856m) and Lhotse (8,516m) to our backs, we continue our descending journey heading past Somare over to Tengboche. At Tengboche, we also get a chance to enjoy the cultural side of things alongside the Tengboche Monastery.

Today, we make our way over to Namche following the classical Everest Trail. Enjoying a Himalayan sunrise at Tengboche, we begin our descending journey to find the lush green forests. The trekking trail for the day continues along the Dudh Koshi River. Enjoying the views of Mt. Everest (8,848m) alongside Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), we head past Phunke Tenga to reach Namche Bazaar.

Retracing our steps back through the lush green forests we once again descend through the villages like Jorsalle and Monjo. In doing so, we exit the Sagarmatha National Park and descend to Bengkar. With the Thamserku (6,623m) as a perfect backdrop to the lush green valley, we descend to Zam Fute Monastery and reach Phakding.

On the final day of the trek, today, we head back to Lukla bringing the adventure to a close. The day is a short one and descends alongside the Bhote Koshi River. Reaching Lukla, we head directly to our hotels wrapping up all the activities for the day. At Lukla, you are free to explore the village and relish the scenery.

An early start to the day we take off from the Lukla airstrip reliving the thrill once more. With one final glance at the Himalayas, the journey takes us back to Kathmandu. Checking into our hotels directly, we conclude all the activities for the day. The day ends with a lovely farewell dinner.
