The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek is one of Nepal’s most iconic long treks, offering an unforgettable journey around the Annapurna range. Spanning 25 days, this adventure blends the natural beauty of the Himalayas with the rich cultural heritage of central Nepal. From lush valleys and arid trans-Himalayan landscapes to sacred temples and the world’s highest lake, this trek is a complete Himalayan experience.
This trail combines highlights from multiple famous routes — including Manang, Jomsom, and Poon Hill — and leads to the spectacular Tilicho Lake (4,920m), a turquoise gem nestled beneath snowcapped peaks. Along the way, trekkers encounter diverse ethnic communities, ancient monasteries, and centuries-old trails that reflect Nepal’s deep cultural and spiritual roots.
The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, the gateway to the Annapurna region. Gradually ascending through Ghermu, Tal, and Chame, the trail unfolds panoramic views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Pisang Peak. Upon reaching Manang, trekkers can explore the Tibetan-influenced culture and prepare for the visit to Tilicho Lake via Khangsar.
Surrounded by towering peaks such as Tilicho, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri, the lake’s tranquil setting is truly awe-inspiring. The route then continues to the sacred site of Muktinath, revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. Passing through the windy town of Jomsom, natural hot springs at Tatopani, and the iconic Poon Hill viewpoint, you’ll enjoy breathtaking sunrises over Annapurna I (8,091m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167m) before concluding the journey in Pokhara.
At Eternal Himalaya, we offer a well-organized and guided version of the Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek, ensuring safety, cultural depth, and lifetime memories in every step of the adventure.
